Meet the Eye Doctors
Hertzog Eye Care is currently owned and operated by eye physician and surgeon, Dr. H. Dieter Hertzog, MD (5th generation). Eye doctor Darcy Ryan, OD, is our eye exam specialist performing refractions for glasses and contact lenses, and has been practicing for over 20 years. Dr. Jennifer Lee, OD, provides both comprehensive and medical eye exams and is certified in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic agents.
Dr. H. Dieter Hertzog, M.D., is a board-certified eye surgeon who specializes in cataract, refractive, and eyelid surgery. He is a 4th generation ophthalmologist and a 5th generation surgeon. He has performed over 20,000 cataract, LASIK, and eyelid surgeries as well as lasers and injections over the course of his career.
Dr. Leif Hertzog, M.D., is a fourth-generation physician and eye surgeon in Long Beach. He specializes in the most modern techniques of cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation.
Dr. Darcy C. Ryan performs general and specialty exams on children through adults, treats eye disease, and prescribes glasses and various types of contact lenses.
Dr. Jennifer Lee, O.D., provides both comprehensive and medical eye exams and is certified in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic agents to detect, treat, and manage ocular disease, and co-manages patients for cataract extractions and refractive surgery.
